hey y’all! oh it was a total happy day for video gamers everywhere (myself included) finally grand theft auto 4 was released for the xbox 360 & ps3 and is receiving rave reviews (there’s a great article over on slate.com called it’s not just about killing hookers anymore - thanks aaron) unfortunately i missed out on the first three games so i’m extra excited to jump into exploring ‘liberty city’ (based on NYC) although i shouldn’t waste my time playing video games i simply cannot help myself - i grew up playing games and oh my gosh they’ve come so far it’s fucking insane - i so wish tonight was friday because right now i’ve got other things to deal with - ugh! i did manage to play a few minutes earlier and i was blown away (this is so NOT a game for kids) GTA4 going to keep me busy for hours on end - the attention to detail is stunning - even fashion maven karl lagerfeld appears in the game as a DJ at a club! there’s some incredible artwork posted below (from gta4.net) i can’t wait to sink my teeth into the game (plus i’ll be playing online with my brother david (turning 24 tomorrow) who lives over in boston) popbytes over & out for now…xxoo
